General Troubleshooting
First of all try to solve your problem testing the Panic.exe software: In case of failutre of MPS, Hardware failure, the main window opening on the wrong screen and so on you can click on Panic.exe in your MartinPS folder: this will solve all settings problems, restoring default values.
In case this application has not solved the problem, you can try one of these solutions:
The Program works fine but the Master and Crossfade stay blocked at 50%
The Software Crashes on Startup
You cannot gain access to normal functions
The Software Crashes after a while with a Kernel Error
I can see MIDI in MIDIDDE window, but not in ProScenium
The Moving Light Window is on the status line, but I can't Maximize it with a click.
I get an "Out of Memory" message.

You may have a Joystick connected to the game port of the Game Port and have not installed the Mini Fader Panel (FADJOY) option offered with ProSceniumDMX.
To solve this problem:
Install the Fadjoy option, or
In the Configuration Panel of ProSceniumDMX , select "0" to disable Joystick functions.
On Windows95 Configuration Panel, Joystick, select Joystick 1 and in the option box click " none ".
Repeat the operation for Joystick 2 and finally click on " OK " to enforce the selection for Joystick 2 and finally click on " OK " to enforce the selection
The Software crashes on Startup
Maybe your sound card make a conflict with the joystick (some OPTi cards has problems with the mmsystem driver).
In the Windows 95/98 Configuration Panel, Joystick, select Joystick 1 and in the option box click " none ". Repeat the operation for Joystick 2 and finally click on " OK " to enforce the selection.
If the problem persists, delete dmxplus.bak and dmxplus.cfg files in your MartinPS directory.
You cannot gain access to normal functions
There is probably a message window asking for an user input that is hidden behind another window. Click on "Alt" or "Alt+Esc" to alternate between different active windows.
For any other problem that is not resolved by consulting the DMX Interface User's Manual, please contact your Martin Distributor or Digimedia directly using our Internet website at
http://www.digimedia-mls.com and check the "More Information" page.
The Software Crashes after a while with a Kernel Error
The Windows MultiMedia Timer has generated a general protection fault
In the MartinPS folder open the file dmxplus.cfg with a text editor (e.g. Notepad).
At the crossfade engine type entry, select Loop or internal and not the Windows Multimedia Timer.
I can see MIDI in MIDIDDE window, but not in ProScenium
Microsoft has released a newer component (msvbvm50.dll ver.5.00.4139 (SP2)) in their Visual Studio Service Pack 3. Within this component which is neccesary for ProScenium to operate there is a bug taht prevents normal operation.
You will have to install a copy of the old msvbvm50.dll (version 5.00.3724) in your Proscenium folder (normally C:\MartinPS). You can find this file in the root directory of your CD-Rom, or download it from DigiMedia Website.
The Moving Light Window is on the status line, but I can't Maximize it with a click
Windows has recorded your last operation as an iconized window.
Solution: You can click the icon on the status line with your mouse right button, from the pop-up menu select "maximize", in the next Open/Close operation, the size of the window will be as normal.
I get an "Out of Memory" message
You are trying to openTwo sessions of ProScenium and you have not enough graphical memory (GUI).
Solution: Upgrade to a Newer MPS Version
