Make a complex Sound/Lightshow in Minutes ??
Mode 1
First of all select the type of synchronisation for your Light Show: (CD-Audio, Wav or Midi File, SMPTE or MTC …)
Make a first cue with all the spots in the starting position and select an MCI command from the recording panel (e.g. Play CdAudio from 1 to 2). Select a Time in and Time out of 0 (zero) seconds.
Clear preset A
Put Cue 1 on Preset B and start the crossfade. The Synchronisation code (TRACK:MINUTES:SECONDS:FRAMES) will be shown in the first panel of the status bar.
Click with your mouse, on the beat or at specific times in the music, the first panel of the status bar to make an unlimited number of empty cues you will fill after with your scenes.
Make a few good lighting scenes, you will record, for example, from cue 1 to cue 20
It is time to save your show….
From the cue edit window select the syncro positions (an easy way to do this is to select files on text, input the string "syncr", all the position cues will be selected.
Click the "sum one or more cues" button. Input the first cue to sum (1), input the last cue to sum (20), select the default level of "100".
You have only to decide if you want to sum cues in sequence (from 1 to 20), or in random mode to all the synchro positions.
Mode 2 (faster)
Make a few good lighting scenes, and record them say for example as, cue 1 to cue 30
Save your show….
Open the Media player,
Firstly, select the media for your Light Show: (CD-Audio, Wav or Midi File, SMPTE or MTC …).
In the Media Player check the Auto Fill Syncro check-box.
Start the song (or CD, or video..), just click on X on your keyboard following the beat.
ProScenium will automatically put a random cue on your preset A, and store it in the right position.
